With everything happening lately, I’ve been wondering: how and when did humanity go awry in our capacity to communicate with one another?
So many of us struggle to communicate. We struggle to find our authentic voice – how do you speak from your core? We are spurred into conflict with, rather than listening to, those with opposing viewpoints, and we struggle to listen to one another. We create conflict at nearly every opportunity, turning ourselves into agents of polarized narratives that feed off our addiction to conflict.
In doing so, we fail to understand our interconnectivity – we seem so far from realizing our state of oneness. We lose sight of the bigger picture, and we treat ourselves as individuals within a species, rather than a collective entity on one unified mission to find truth in ourselves through one another. So how can we break down these imaginary walls we’ve built around ourselves and each other?
Now’s the time to overcome the isolation of today’s social media fueled era — to see each other for who we really are, and to connect to the nature within us and around us. Today we can head out of the office, out of the house, wrap our arms around a tree, bathe in the sunlight, and hug each other another moment longer. We will re-engage the face-to-face community. We will share meals, stories, tears, and laughter.
Let’s rise to create grassroots communities founded on new ideas seeded by diverse perspectives. Let’s share groundbreaking regenerative solutions to reconnect to the nature in which we came from in a community founded on the philosophy of abundance.
Through community, I am certain we can rewrite humanity back into the definition of nature.
By joining together with our planet and each other, we can become givers, part of a sharing species that gives back not only within our human community, but to Mother Earth and her diversity of species.
I truly believe each one of you in this community have shown up at this moment, at the tipping point of a species and a planet, to simply change everything. We have made no errors, there have been no failures, and our winding journeys have prepared each of us to forge a path of hope and regeneration. You look around at our world and know we can do better.
We can do better for our future, our children’s future, and our planet’s future.
I am so humbled to be part of your global and universal community, and I’m ecstatic to know you can go out and change the world right now — more through your listening than your doing. Let us begin to share rather than own, let us begin to surrender rather than cling to, let us witness the beauty around us and share that love with those in our greater community.
Join our online community and help us touch more lives.
Let’s create a ripple effect that extends throughout each of our communities and beyond.
