What is this experience?
The week with Zach Bush MD is part of the ninth week of our 11-week immersive residential programme, Freedom To Create, held at The Transmission School, Volterra – Tuscany
This is not a retreat, but a communal, transformative learning space (experiential course) where students and guest teachers live, eat, move, work, and grow together. The intention is to create a field of real-time resonance and learning—across physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and astral bodies.

Daily Structure
Morning Classes
Tuesday to Saturday – 10:00 am to 1:00 pm with Dr. Zach Bush
(With a mid-morning break included)
Afternoons
These may include:
- Hands-on experiences like tree planting, conscious cooking, herbal medicine
- Time for rest, nature walks, or integration
- Occasional excursions (Volterra, San Gimignano, cheese farm in Poggioni, grain fields of Floriddia… and yes, a gelato!)
- Additional sessions with Zach, depending on his energy and what wants to emerge

Daily Rhythm
7:15 – Morning Practice (garden meditation, qigong, or yoga)
8:15 – Organic Vegetarian Breakfast
9:00 – Love in Action (communal care for the space and the garden)
10:00–13:00 – Class with Zach (with a mid-morning break)
13:00 – Lunch
14:00–15:30 – Siesta / Integration Time
15:30 – Afternoon Activity, Teaching, or Excursion (TBD together)
19:00 – Dinner
Evening – Community Time, music, or quiet rest

ABOUT US
The Transmission School is an international progressive school and venue for people of all ages. Beyond science, spirituality and philosophy, we share practicable wisdom and provide the space for an integrated life in resonance with Earth.
Our teachers come from different backgrounds and life paths and are leading experts in their fields, such as ecology, transpersonal and transformational coaching, healing, yoga, astrology, martial arts, spirituality and dance.
We carefully create our curriculum to encompass teachings of physical and emotional nature, mental understanding, and spiritual and astral practices, as well as in the arts and crafts, natural greens foraging and cooking.

Available for an extra fee – costs vary based on pick-up location and number of people (approx. €80–€230 each way). Details provided during booking.
Note: we can coordinate a shared transfer with other participants, which will allow them to split the fare.
What to Bring
Once your place is confirmed, you’ll receive a more detailed list. But generally:
- Comfortable clothes for movement practices
- Layers for variable November weather
- Water bottle, notebook, torch
- Garden/work clothes (for hands-on Earth activities)
- Musical instruments welcome
- Personal toiletries and any essential supplements/meds

About the Space
More info about the house, land, and environment will be shared once you’re in the booking process. Expect silence, olive trees, fresh air, shared bathrooms, and a lot of soul.
Language Spoken
The course and community experience will be held in English. While students come from all over the world, English will be our shared bridge for learning and connection.
