FASTING SERIES : DAY 5
No matter how many times you do a fast, you should be clearing something out of your cells.
Breath, sweat, and urine are the three pathways for getting toxins out when fasting and detoxing the body. This 4-minute workout is one example of a great way to work it into your day.
Breathing mechanisms can bring you into a space to detoxify better. See this video for a couple of my favorite breathing exercises by my incredible wife @jennperellbush
We often call it the “God hormone” because it’s associated with a lot of these experiences outside of the body or spiritual expansions.
Sweat is a huge mechanism that can clear an enormous amount of toxin as skin is one of your biggest organs to exude junk. When you sweat, you mobilize a lot of junk. You can even measure heavy metals in the sweat when you sweat for a period of time. Plastics and other endocrine disruptors can come out through the sweat, thus, it’s a great mechanism for clearing toxins.
Lastly, urine is the most obvious way to detoxify the body. If you’re not hydrating during a fast, you’re not getting the full potential of detoxification. That goes for intermittent fasting and day-to-day.
Remember that a lot of the toxins you need to clear are made through normal, healthy cell processes.
My experience tends to change with every single fast and I imagine yours will too.
