Changing the Narrative: A pandemic retrospective and vision for a new humanity

By: Dr. Zach Bush

We have unleashed a tsunami of crisis that will continue to hit shore in the coming months, washing across the global society in the years ahead.

The pandemic has continued to take its natural course into the narrative of human history this year. Collectively, we must come to terms with the evidence of widespread harm we have engineered in humanity and our planet through the bureaucratic “public health” interventions that have accelerated economic, agronomic, and biologic collapse around the world.

In the first year of the pandemic, we were told 400,000 people died of Covid-19 related fatalities in the United States. In the second year, despite vaccination levels getting to 60%+ throughout the country, we saw another 400,000 deaths attributed to the virus.

Across all ages, there was no change in mortality rate during the pandemic compared to 2017-2019, but with widespread lockdowns, vaccine mandates and beyond, we see a steep increase in non-Covid death claims among younger adults in the US. We’ve even seen steep increases in death claims in the life insurance industry during Q3 and Q4 of 2021 — the largest increase in insurance history.

As vaccination levels peaked in the third quarter in the US, we saw a concurrent 40% increase in death in previously healthy individuals. These death claims were not related to Covid-19 on death certificates. Instead, we see stroke, heart attack, cardiac arrhythmias, blood clots, and neurologic events predominated in this increase. The scale of this unprecedented increase in death in these young demographics is four times greater than the 200-year crisis levels anticipated by insurance actuarial tables.

We Stand At A Crossroads

We are witness to an estimated 150 to 300 million new households in poverty around the world. This spike is necessarily accompanied by increases in mental health disorders, ranging from major depression and anxiety to suicide, homicide, domestic violence, sexual abuse, substance abuse, and beyond.

How did this happen?

Over the last few hundred years, we have written ourselves out of the definition of nature. In the Oxford Dictionary, nature is defined as “the phenomena of the physical world collectively, including plants, animals, the landscape, and other features and products of the earth, as opposed to humans or human creations.” To take this a step further, the United States of America’s Declaration of Independence clearly states in its preamble that we understand God to be outside of, and opposed to, the law of nature. We called it divine law. We used this pulpit of divine decree to turn our violence on one another, justifying the raping, pillaging, and destruction of original peoples in all colonized lands throughout the planet.

We are far from the first empire to employ such a tactic. But perhaps we should see alarm in the fact that it is no longer limited to nations and militaries, but instead corporations — often wielding economic clout greater than many nation states — that are executing massive land and resource grabs, exploiting abusive human labor and destroying ecological balance, all justified by our new God: corporate profit. What prophetic future has this profit brought us?

As we bring the biology of the planet into existential crisis, we now move toward the collapse not only of an empire, but of a civilization and ultimately our species. Never before has the polarity of our existence and beliefs held us in such massive potential energy. We need this galactic polarized energy to create enough of a catalyst for our ultimate transformation.

It’s time for us to bring the United States, and human civilization at large, in line with natural law. Collectively, we must come to terms with the fact that we are not separate from, nor opposed to, the very nature from which we come. The virome, the microbiome, and regenerative systems provide us not only an origin story, but a path forward for humanity.

With this step forward, I am excited to begin to advance the universal understanding of natural law and governance. We can create a new approach for sovereign peoples and nations to coexist, and together enrich the biodiversity and adaptive capacity of our species and society. Together, we can create a unified philosophy of socioeconomics and sociopolitics that is in alignment with natural systems. Humanity has the potential energy now for transformation as we embark on the next epoch of our life here on this beautiful planet.

Join me and a panel of emerging voices — Jade Lee, Paul Walsh, and Aberdeen Violet — as we take a deep look at the effects of trauma on our individual self-identity as well as that of our local and global communities.

We’ll start by examining the history of coronavirus pandemics over the last twenty years, exploring their minimal impacts on all cause mortality and global population growth, and contrasting this data with the public health impact of our fear-based reactions to natural systems of biology. We’ll then explore the ways in which our minds and philosophies schism by fear and how this impacts our self identity on the individual, community, and global levels. Finally, we’ll consider the application of natural law and practices of love that can unify these fractured identities of humanity.

Tune into this forward-thinking discussion that will eliminate fear and guilt and offer guidance and inspiration to move forward into our full potential.

Together, we can chart our next chapter of humanity.
