I come to you today with a vulnerable message to share the reality of what farmers, the heroes growing the food we eat every single day, are experiencing. It’s devastating.

Emphasis on convenience and processed food has led to the widespread disconnect between the hands working tirelessly to nurture and grow the food we consume without a single thought as to where it came from and the farm in which it sprouted.

It is my hope this message, in some way, reconnects you to the healing nature of our bodies and mother nature despite such widespread destruction. Hope comes from action and participation can begin to heal this devastation.

There has never been an unfolding of a storyline that has struck me as deeply as what our farmers are experiencing every day. My hope is in the recognition that we can do something, you and I and this community together, can change the trajectory of agriculture and human health on a grand scale.
